Crossing Consuelo Creek
Nyanda has two important creek systems from the national park's gorges, which converge to form the larger Consuelo Creek. These creeks are rich in aquatic life, and also plant life, including Sheoaks, Carnarvon Palms, Fig Trees, Lily Pillies, and Bracken Ferns. We will drive through their shallow crossings as we pass through an area we simple call 'the gorge'.

Arrive at the Spring-Fed Creek for Tea/Coffee Break
After we arrive at an area called ‘Flat Rock’, we will sit by the spring-fed creek as we pause beneath a shady tree to enjoy the scenery and a hot beverage of your choice, accompanied by a homemade, country style snacks.
